For Immediate Release

Louisville, KY – May 29, 2024 – The WO Network and The Presley Post are delighted to announce the resounding success of their recent Creative Connections networking event. Held at The Presley Post's Creative Co-Working Space, the event brought together an inspiring group of women entrepreneurs, business professionals, and creatives for a day of collaboration, learning, and connection.

Guests were treated to a rich program of insightful talks and delicious food. Heather Bouvier, a renowned figure in the Louisville film scene and creater and owner of The B Scene, delivered an enlightening presentation on how local businesses can engage with the film industry. Her talk provided valuable insights and sparked great interest among attendees looking to explore new opportunities in this dynamic field.

The culinary highlight of the event was undoubtedly the Build Your Own Buddha Bowl Buffet, prepared by Dre Culver Overton of Dinners by Dre. Guests raved about the vibrant and flavorful vegan options, with the addition of organic chicken for those who desired it. Dre's innovative approach to plant-based cuisine was a huge hit and showcased her exceptional talent in creating delicious, healthy meals.

"We were thrilled to host this event at The Presley Post," said Co-Founder Holly Hartman. "Jasmine Presley’s vibrant and colorful space was the perfect backdrop for fostering creativity and connections among our attendees. The positive feedback we received has been overwhelming, and it reaffirms our commitment to building a supportive community for women leaders."

In addition to the main program, the event also featured opportunities for networking and community building. Attendees appreciated the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and explore potential collaborations.

"The WO Network is committed to providing our local women's businesses with out-of-the-box opportunities in various industries," said Co-Founder Izzy Nalley. "Louisville has one of the highest percentages of women-owned businesses in the nation, and we aim to foster an environment of Collaboration over Competition. Our big plans include connecting women in innovative ways to support and uplift each other."

Looking ahead, The Presley Post has an exciting lineup of events, including a Digital Literacy Training with Miguel Hampton on June 22nd, Tech Tuesday with TECH-Nique on July 16th, and a Member Mixer with YPAL on July 31st. These events aim to continue the mission of fostering learning and networking among professionals in the community.

WO's Poppy Partner Amanda Dare, founder of W.O.W. Women Owned Wallet, is another key figure supporting women's businesses. "As women's wallets grow, so does our community," she stated, emphasizing the broader impact of empowering women entrepreneurs.

"We're grateful to everyone who attended and supported our event," said Holly "This is still just the beginning, and we look forward to many more events where we can continue to inspire, connect, and support women leaders in Louisville."
